Re: How to enjoy a happy and healthy lifestyle
Dear Reader
A healthy lifestyle is all about balance. We tend to take our health for granted, and assume our mind and body will stay in good shape, despite the punishment we give them: over-eating and drinking; spending too much time sitting down; working in jobs which don't inspire us; feeling isolated from our families and communities; and losing touch with the things which are most important to us. Creative Health and Life Coaching addresses these issues.
Which of these statements describe you best?
Column A
you have a balanced diet, eating healthy meals which you enjoy
you get regular exercise and spend time outdoors in the fresh air
you feel full of energy and eager to embark on new adventures
you do work that you love and which makes use of your creative talents and abilities
your home and work environment are inspiring and uncluttered
you feel relaxed and able to cope with whatever new challenges arise
you have a close circle of friends and family who you see regularly
your level of health is generally good, and you can't remember the last time you were off work due to illness
Column B
you often eat "junk food", have "working lunches" or eat "on the run"
you spend most of your day sitting down or cooped up indoors
you feel tired all the time and lacking in enthusiasm
you feel uninspired by a job which offers little or no opportunity to express the real you
your home or work space is untidy and disorganised
you feel anxious about your job, finances or relationships
you feel isolated from friends, family and the community
you regularly catch infections, or you have recently been seriously ill and are recovering or convalescing
If you ticked more of the statements in Colum B on the right, Creative Health and Life Coaching will help you to re-balance your lifestyle, enabling you to improve your health, energy, confidence and stress levels, and to feel happy, fulfilled and inspired.
You will benefit from Creative Health and Life Coaching, if:
- you're recovering from a severe health problem, such as cancer, and you want to change your lifestyle to place more emphasis on what YOU want
- you've recently had the shock of redundancy from a corporate career, and you want to take the opportunity to explore your options for a more authentic lifestyle
- you're in a "what next?" void, without the structure and support of your old ways of being, and you're looking for a rope bridge to guide you safely across the chasm
- you're interested in creating a happier, healthier and more inspired lifestyle
The holistic approach of Creative Health and Life Coaching helps you to identify and address areas of your health and lifestyle which are out of balance, including:
- food / nutrition / eating habits
- exercise
- stress levels
- living authentically
- your relationship with yourself and others
- creativity
- your community
- energy / tiredness levels
- your environment at home and work
Health and Life Coaching is available to you, wherever you are in the world, by telephone. There are several benefits to telephone coaching:
- it's environmentally friendly, with a practically zero carbon footprint (apart from the tiny amount of electricity needed to power your phone)
- you don't have to travel to the coaching sessions, which saves you time, transport costs and the frustration of commuting
- you can be coached from the comfort of your own home, office, car (as long as you're not driving), beach - wherever you feel safe and able to relax
- you may find it easier to talk about your issues, challenges and difficulties by phone, rather than face-to-face
- you can still benefit from being coached by me, even if you live outside South West London, Surrey, or the UK
